In 1961, a small group of artists gathered to paint. They realized the potential physical and cultural growth of the Mid-Cities area. Soon thereafter, Hurst Art Association was born.
The fledgling Hurst Art Association was growing. The name Trinity Arts Guild (TAG) was adopted in 1967. The name "Trinity" was selected as representative of three surrounding cities, Hurst, Euless and Bedford. Shortly after they moved to Richland Hills, TX.
In 1975, an agreement was struck between TAG and the city of Bedford. TAG was to occupy the first floor of the east dormitory of the Bedford Boys Ranch. Guild members put aside their paint brushes and took up construction tools, refurbishing their new home. The efforts resulted in The Trinity Arts Center. The first meeting was held in April of 1975.
Thanks to the shared vision, we're still here!
